Giovanni is a co-founder and Partner at Medicxi. He led Medicxi’s investment in Aura Biosciences (NASDAQ:AURA), New Amsterdam (NASDAQ:NAMS). Giovanni currently serves on the boards of a number of portfolio companies, including Vaderis Therapeutics, ViceBio, Kurome Therapeutics and Fore Bio. Prior to Medicxi, Giovanni was a Principal at Index Ventures and previously Giovanni was at Cancer Research UK where he conducted research on vascular biology and angiogenesis. Giovanni received a BSc in Biochemistry from Imperial College London and a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from University College London.
